Portfolio

Hi there! Welcome to my portfolio. This is where I showcase the projects that I've worked on, each with its own unique story and impact. Feel free to explore and learn more about the exciting projects I've been a part of.

Ambient Display

Digital Fabrication | Electronics | WebAPI Comms

This project was created to explore how data from the digital world can be translated into calm, meaningful physical expressions through light and form.

The goal was to experiment with the ESP32 microcontroller and API integration to transform abstract data (like live Wikipedia edits) into a tangible and poetic visualization. Beyond the technical aspect, my aim was to build an object that balances engineering, aesthetics, and interaction design, while deepening my understanding of data-driven artifacts, IoT systems, and fabrication techniques such as laser cutting and 3D printing.

Bear With Me

AI Engineering | Electronics | Digital Fabrication | UX Research

This project emerged from a deep interest in how children experience learning in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. The initial aim was to build AI literacy and support creativity through meaningful engagement with emerging technologies. Research and interviews with children, parents, and caregivers revealed a more urgent challenge around confidence, self expression, and public speaking. This insight led to designing an AI powered system that supports communication practice through a safe, playful, and emotionally supportive digital and physical experience.

Robotic Blimp

Electronics| Soldering| Fabrication| Code

Challenge Completed! It's the final week at my institute for the Mandela Washington Fellowship and I'm glad I took the chance to build a drone at the Flying Robots Lab/Swarm Lab at Lehigh University. I found their model very interesting because it was a low cost design which was highly impact resistant. This is exactly the type of design I've been looking for to teach kids on drone technology. This is definitely a gamechanger for my startup CTN Technologies.

Repurpose: IOT Ambient Kettle

Product Design| Electronics | Fabrication| Code

The IoT Ambient Vase transforms a discarded kettle into a smart, expressive object that blends sustainability with interactive design. Powered by an ESP32 microcontroller, addressable LEDs, and a WorldTime API, it shifts ambient colors throughout the day. A clap detection system enables seamless user control. This project merges hardware, software, and creative reuse to turn waste into a responsive, time aware artifact for everyday living.

Expressive Mechanics

Product Design| Electronics | Computer Vision| Machine Learning| P5.js

For this project, I designed and built a kinetic butterfly mechanism that responds to live camera input using computer vision and machine learning. The system translates visual cues into expressive motion through an Arduino-controlled motor, creating a sense of life and transformation. I chose the butterfly as a symbol of my own journey as a Master of Design student; constantly evolving, learning, and emerging into something new and beautiful.
